Do I Have to Make Monthly Purchases?

The most economical way to set started is to get an enrollment kit. Why? Three reasons: First, they’re specially priced so you can save even more money. Second, in buying an enrollment kit, you waive the $35 enrollment fee. Third, they’ve grouped the kits in the most popular products so you can try a variety of things that most people use regularly.
Do I Need to Pick a Kit?
No. The kits are merely a convenient way to buy a variety of popular products at an even deeper discount (each kit is discounted below wholesale price plus saves you the $35 enrollment fee). If you’d rather, you can shop ‘ala cart’ and pick items individually to place into your cart. You’ll still enjoy wholesale prices, you will just have to pay the $35 enrollment fee.

First, select your language.
Next, pick whether you’d like a Wholesale Customer account or a Wellness Advocate account. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE between the two is that as a Wellness Advocate you can earn money. We like to encourage people to sign up as Wellness Advocates, even if they have no intention of ever running the business. The reason for this is that you can potentially earn money anyway. Next, fill out your information and pick a password.
You will then pick a kit OR, if you’re putting together a collection of products that you want to customize, select the $35 introductory packet (it’s in the scrolling bar with all the kit options). Then, whether your buying a kit, or just selecting individual products, you can add the products in the provided space.
Fill out the payment information. Up until this point, you’ve been dealing with signing up as a wholesale member and setting up your new account. The order you just set up will ship out to you in a few days and you’re all set.
However, the next section in the process is dealing with future orders.
What is LRP?
LRP stands for Loyalty Rewards Program. It’s an awesome (free) program that doTERRA offers that helps you save even more. Remember at the beginning when we told you that you could save up to 55% off retail prices? Your wholesale account gives you a 25% discount. Loyalty Rewards offers up to an additional 30% back on products purchased. It’s similar to a Frequent Flyer Program (except that you actually earn points monthly that you can cash in the following month, so it’s better than a FFP!) You start out getting at least 10% back on your LRP purchases (it could be higher depending on the kit you enrolled with). That percentage increases every few months and caps out at 30% after 13 months. 30% (LRP kick back) + 25% (wholesale savings) = 55% below retail prices!
How it works: You fill up a LRP cart with products you’d like receive next month (you pick the day that it’s shipped to you). If you order at least 50 pv (pv stands for product value, which is not always the same as the price so pay attention to that part–both will be listed) in a month, you will receive product credits back that you can cash in for products of your choice.
For example: You fill up your LRP cart and pick a date for it to ship to you. You put in 100 pv worth of products. In return, you will receive 10-20% back (depending on what kit you bought when you enrolled) the following month ($10-30). You can use those points immediately, if you’d like, or save them up. You have a year to cash in those points for whatever you want.
Other Perks:
- On LRP, there are products you can order at a reduced rate (for example, if you order the Skin Care System with Hydrating Cream through your LRP, you get a free Invigorating Scrub, worth $24, if you order the LifeLong Vitality Pack (the vitamin, mineral and essential oils system), you save an additional $79 off wholesale prices, etc.)
- Whatever you paid for shipping, (even if you elect to have it sent overnight for $25) is credited back to you in product points, making shipping virtually free.
- If you buy at least 10o pv through your LRP, you are eligible to make money.
- If you buy at least 125 pv (by the 15th of the month) through your LRP, you earn a free product of the month (a free bottle of essential oil, usually).
What if I don’t want to order one month? In order to stay in the LRP program, you have to place at least a 1 pv order in a given month. If you want to opt out of the program, you can do that at any time. You will just lose the perks that come with it.
Once you decide about the Loyalty Rewards Program, you’re done. You should get your order within just a couple of days. Like we said earlier, there is NEVER any pressure to run doTERRA as a business. But lots of folks are, so we’re mentioning it here. If you are interested, there are many levels you can jump in on. Some people just share their oils with friends and family and inevitably find people that want to set up a wholesale account and before they know it, they’re making money without even trying (that’s what happened to us!). Some are more focused and want to dedicate part time or full time hours to pursue a deliberate income. It might be that they want an extra $500 per month to supplement what they’re already doing.
