and Disclosure:
As the owners of this site, we are researchers, writers, and people who try to incorporate healthy practices into our daily lives. We are not doctors or other health professionals.
Please keep that in mind.
In writing the information on this site, we do our best to research the most reliable health information available, talk to others who are experts and/or have a personal experience with the subject, read authoritative information in the field, and glean from our own personal experiences. What we say may or may not be accurate for your personal situation. Feel free to read other advice elsewhere, and draw your own conclusions.
Our goal with this site, as well as with our own lives, is to help everyone experience the best health and wellness available as we try to navigate living in a toxic and unhealthy world. Individual problems that might crop up with or without the advice from this site are out of our control.
Please do your own research. As you will soon learn (if you haven’t already), there are many different angles and opinions to the many issues and ideas related to health, essential oils, cooking, exercise and just about every other topic. We, in no way, believe the opinions on this blog are the ‘only way’, and actually acknowledge that some of what we post might be considered questionable by some. That’s okay. Don’t try or do anything you’re not comfortable with, and in situations where your health is at risk, certainly talk to your doctor first.
The way we figure it, we’re all on this learning curve called life. What we say one day might be the best information available, but the next week, could be outdated because they’ve discovered something new. To that end, please stay awhile, share your own thoughts and ideas, and create an environment of mutual learning, growing and encouragement.
Here’s to health. For all of us.
Shelly Perry Kerrie HubbardP.S. In case you’re wondering where the funding comes from for Creating Health from Scratch, we fund this site with our time, passion and creativity. However, in an effort to cover actual costs, we do occasionally use affiliate partnerships. If you follow any of the affiliate links and make a purchase, we earn a small commission on the sale. All of the affiliate links we use will be clearly marked within the blog post (not all links are affiliate links), just to keep everything on the up and up and to keep you from guessing. The awesome thing about affiliate links is that when you use them, it doesn’t cost you anything (and in some cases it costs you less). It’s a win/win for all of us.
Please note, additionally, that the opinions we give on any products are always our own and have not been paid for by any company or manufacturer. Our enthusiasm stems from our own personal experience, or from the experience of others we trust. Our goal, as always, is to help visitors to the site have the most positive, safe and healthy experience possible, and that always overrides the few cents we might earn from a click.
